Service Terms & Operations Agreement
Last Updated: August 2026
This Service Terms & Operations Agreement ("Agreement") governs all services provided by Toucan Shine ("Company," "we," "us") to the client ("Client," "you"). By requesting an estimate, approving a quote, or scheduling service, you agree to the following terms.
1. Scope of Work & Access
Clear Access: Client agrees to provide free and unobstructed access to all exterior and interior glass, solar panels, water spigots, and work areas on the scheduled service date. Please remove screen obstructions, delicate items from windowsills, and outdoor furniture where necessary.
Pets & Gates: For safety, all pets must be secured indoors or away from work areas prior to arrival. Gates and exterior perimeter access must be unlocked or code-accessible.
Water Access: Client agrees to provide access to a standard, functioning exterior culinary water hose spigot for pure-water filtration operations.
2. Service Quality & Weather Policy
Pure-Water Technology: Exterior glass and solar panels are cleaned using multi-stage pure-water filtration systems. Windows dry naturally spot-free without chemical residues.
Weather Adjustments: Services are performed in typical Southern Utah weather, including heat and light rain. In cases of high winds, severe storms, lightning, or unsafe conditions, Toucan Shine reserves the right to reschedule services to the next available date without penalty.
Satisfaction Guarantee: If you notice any service discrepancies, please notify us within 48 hours of job completion. We will return to inspect and re-clean the affected areas free of charge.
3. Hard Water Stain Removal & Pre-Existing Conditions
Etched Glass & Pre-Existing Damage: Hard water removal treatments are designed to eliminate mineral buildup caused by irrigation overspray and desert minerals. Deeply etched glass, sun-baked seals, cracked glass, pre-existing scratches, or failed window seals (fogged glass) cannot be repaired via cleaning and are not the responsibility of Toucan Shine.
Screen Removal: We exercise extreme care when removing and reinstalling window screens. However, sun-damaged, brittle, or aging plastic screen corners and mesh may deteriorate during standard removal; Toucan Shine is not liable for pre-damaged screen materials.
4. Solar Panel Care
Non-abrasive pure water equipment and manufacturer-approved solar cleaning solutions are utilized exclusively on panels to protect specialized anti-reflective coatings and preserve panel warranties.
5. Payment & Cancellations
Payment Terms: Payment is due on-site upon service completion unless prior recurring billing arrangements have been established. Accepted payment methods include mobile tap-to-pay (credit/debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay), Zelle, or local check.
Cancellations: We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or service rescheduling.
6. Liability & Insurance
Toucan Shine carries full commercial liability insurance. We take every precaution to safeguard your property during service execution.
